I bet you’re probably wondering “what is PetFriendly Direct?”
PetFriendly Direct is a monthly subscription service unlike the others you’ve probably heard of. They directly mail you your pup’s flea medication each month for about $8…and shipping is included. I personally have enough furry pets to start a petting zoo so when my fellow pup loving friend tagged me in their commercial on Facebook, I had to find out more.

While checking out their website I was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was. I made an account for each of my pups and added their weights and a cute little profile picture to go with it. During the checkout process, I made a mistake and emailed them late that night. I was so surprised when I woke up the next day and had already received an email from Aaron ready to fix my problem (while also commenting on how cute my pups are). I totally agree with him… they’re doggone cute!
Two days later, I received my pup’s flea medication right to my door step. I was not expecting it that fast! Did they personally drop it off or something?!
Once I brought my freshly shipped meds indoors, I started the application process.Applying their flea meds became a whole lot easier because by having each of my pups’ picture on the box, I knew which dose goes on the correct dog. (i.e., I’m not giving the chihuahua’s dose to our boxer mix, which may or may not have happened last year.)
They also loved the treats included in each of their boxes, making flea meds day a lot more worth it for them.
Pro tip: if your pup currently has fleas I suggest bringing them down to the Ranch for a flea bath prior to applying their medication so they’re clean and it completely soaks into their backs.
Throughout the whole process, from helping me fix my mistake on their website to arriving two days later and how quickly the medication absorbed and didn’t leave a greasy residue, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. And for $8 each pup, I ended up paying a fraction of the price from our previous monthly flea meds. Talk about a win-win!
