Hi my name is Preston,
I’ve worked here since October of 2017 and Pawderosa Ranch is absolutely everything I’ve wanted a facility to be. It’s been the best experience I’ve ever had. I’ve worked in the animal industry for over 4 years and have been with many different boarding and grooming facilities, nothing compares to Pawderosa Ranch. Since dogs have been my life since I was about 3 seconds old, I’m so happy I can work somewhere with my favorite things ever and get to bring my little princess with me (Nikita).
What’s your favorite time of year at the Ranch?
My favorite time of the year would definitely be summertime when every day is like a water park. Every day is basically a party and I can’t get enough of it.
Tell me about your pets at home?
I have a husky named Nikita (aka SenioritaNikitaFajitaMargarita). She’s seriously my queen, I’ve had her for going on two years now and it’s been the greatest. I rescued her from a horrible family that mistreated and neglected her. Ever since then we have been inseparable, I even have her tattooed on me.
What’s your favorite thing about the Ranch?
My favorite thing about the ranch has got to be the fact that it doesn’t even feel like work. I’ll come in on my days off just to see the dogs and make sure everyone is happy. These dogs are my babies and I will care for them as such. Getting to make these connections with animals is the most liberating thing I’ve experienced. No dog is the same so it’s always a new adventure.
