As San Antonio starts to come back to life after this last crazy year, we want to start exploring our city again. And who better to explore with than our furry best friends? There are plenty of places in and around San Antonio that are dog friendly and it’s not just dog parks!

Hops and Hounds

Hops and Hounds is a new dog-friendly restaurant in San Antonio. It opened up this year and is located at 13838 Jones Maltsberger Rd. Hops and Hounds isn’t just an ordinary dog-friendly place, it contains designated dog park areas for both big and small dogs. Each area is separated contains appropriately sized obstacle courses, toys, and plenty of space! While Fido is enjoying himself, you can eat and grab a drink from the bar. The restaurant is inside and outside, so you can stop by any time of day.

Kingsborough Park

Kingsborough Park is the latest dog park to open in San Antonio earlier this year. The park is located at 350 Felps Blvd. The new park offers two dog areas, each with agility equipment, Mutt Mitt stations, shade canopies, and plenty of space for your pups to run around! Bring your dog and let them run off some energy on the weekend!

Sisters Grimm Ghost Tours

What better way to take a ghost tour than with your pup? Sisters Grimm Ghost Tours lets you bring your dog along for their tours. You and Fido can hunt and run away from ghosts together!

San Antonio SiDeCaRs

San Antonio SiDeCaRs allows you and Fido to ride around the city in style. By style, we mean a Vespa and sidecar. You’ll enjoy the wind in your hair (or fur) along with all the beautiful spots our beautiful city has to offer. You’ll also be able to stop for a picnic, so make sure to bring some dog treats

The Shops at La Cantera

Wanting to shop but don’t want to leave your furry friend at home? At The Shops at La Cantera, you can shop with Fido by your side! La Cantera itself is dog friendly and they have a list of shops that will allow your dog to come into the shop with you. Dogs and shopping, what more could you want?

We love when we can take our dogs with us. Whether it’s a park, restaurant, tour, or shopping center, it’s good for your dog’s health to get them out of their everyday element. If you’re looking to get your dog out of the house while you’re at a place that’s not dog friendly, bring them to The Ranch! We have plenty of room and plenty of dogs to entertain your pup all day long.
