Hi my name is Katie,
I’m a Canine Care Specialist for Pawderosa Ranch at the Schertz location. My job is to take care of your pups by making sure they all have a clean bunk, feed them breakfast/ dinner, have enough water, and a nice comfy bed to sleep on. I also love to make them feel comfortable by spoiling them with love and lots of cuddles just as they would at home.
Tell me about your pets at home?
I have one dog and one cat. My dog’s name is Gracie, she is a Australian cattle dog mix. We’ve had her for about a year and one half, and lucky enough to take her in as her previous owners weren’t able to take care of her. She has a big personality that I will never get tired of. She is only a year old but is one smart cookie! She continues to amaze me and will always be my best friend. My cat’s name is Trixie and I’ve had her since I was in fourth grade. She keeps to herself most of the time but when she decides to come out of her hiding spots she is one big love bug!
What is your favorite time of year?
My favorite time of year at the ranch would be summer time! I WUV seeing all the new pups that come in, along with our regulars, of course. It’s so fun being able to see how much fun the pups are having playing in our pools, loving the water! Now if only we can get them excited like that during bath time.
What is your favorite thing about the Ranch?
My favorite thing about the ranch is the heart warming feeling that I always get when I walk into work. We are truly one big happy family! I’m always greeted with a smile from staff and the happy pups that get another hooman to give them endless love and cuddles.
