Hello my name is Angel,
I joined the Pawderosa team in October of 2017. Pawderosa Ranch has really been quite the experience so far, and I’ve already learned so much about each of the fur babies! As a Care Specialist, it’s my duty to make sure that they all have clean, comfy bunks with clean water to drink and food prepared just the way they like it! I also trim their nails and bathe our guest dogs so they go home smelling fresh! Working here at Pawderosa has really sparked my passion for working with dogs, I am actually training to be an Enrichment Specialist as well! I’m planning on getting my dog training certification soon and Pawderosa Ranch really has been the kick start that I needed.
What’s your favorite time of year at the Ranch?
I really enjoyed working Thanksgiving. I helped prepare the feast and seeing them scarf it all down was the cutest thing ever.
Tell me about your pets at home?
My family has a Blue Heeler named Sissy. She’s a wild girl that loves to do zoomies and hang out with my dad while he works out on his ranch. She loves squirrel spotting and chasing birds too.
What’s your favorite thing about the Ranch?
My favorite thing about Pawderosa Ranch is that it’s a smaller more intimate facility, and that really allows the specialists to learn and supplement every single personality of our guest dogs that come through. We don’t just feed, bathe, or clean up after them; We genuinely love and care for them as if they were our own!
