ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! When it’s too hard to contain your Christmas spirit, spread that holiday cheer with your furry little loved one (your dog that is). Here’s our ultimate Christmas bucket list for you to do with your pup for a dog friendly Christmas…this could be completed in one day or over the course of the week!
Start your day with a quick pit stop to Starbucks for a festive coffee drink for you and a pupuccino for him!(It’s just whip cream in a cup!)
Sniffing Christmas Trees – Let your pup sniff all the Christmas trees his heart desires over at Milbergers. Milbergers is a dog friendly garden center on 1604 and Bulverde rd with Christmas trees to purchase. Just don’t let your pup potty on someone’s future tree!

Pictures with Santa Claus – You can’t skip out on pictures of your pup with the jolly guy, Bass Pro Shops on I-10 offers FREE (that’s right, free) Santa photos every day until Christmas Eve. If your pup is not a fan of Santa or you live on the opposite side of town, I also suggest Polly’s Pet Shop in Universal City. To celebrate Grinchmas with your pup, the Grinch will be at Polly’s Pet Shop on December 19th & 21st.
Christmas lights – To finish off your adventure, drive down to the Riverwalk to look at the Christmas lights. You can walk downtown with your pup to watch the Christmas lights twinkling over the Riverwalk. Plan to end your night out at Rita’s on the River, ordering for the both of y’all. They will bring your pup his very own water bowl and give you a doggie menu to order something for him.
Christmas movie – Now go home to watch Santa Paws with your good boy and give yourself a pat on the back for making Christmas memories with your pup!
